Emerald Regulatory Update: July 2020

Following an update on its Wyoming wells, Emerald continues to advance its mission to produce methane from CBM wells.
We have tabulated and evaluated water and methane analysis from the six wells enhanced in late 2019.
Detailed water analysis before and after enhancement confirmed that Emerald’s process remains benign to host aquifers. The analysis spanned several months.
The data also confirmed the generation of new, renewable methane (RNG). Emerald can distinguish this newly generated RNG from the in-situ natural gas already present in the reservoirs.
Over the past 8 weeks, Emerald has presented these results to Governor Gordon, the Wyoming Oil & Gas Conservation Commission (WOGCC), Department of Environmental Quality, Water Division (DEQ), and the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) in Buffalo, WY.
Emerald is applying to Wyoming state and federal regulators for another round of enhancements. This phase will use much larger volumes of food-grade carbohydrates.
The goal is to test a second set of enhancements at scale. These results will help determine the carbohydrate volumes required for commercial viability.
Stay tuned!!
