Emerald Operational Update: August 2024 to January 2025
In the second half of August 2024, Emerald treated 10 additional wells with its H2-generating Amendment. We completed these wells across four different coal seams. Our approach used more than twice the H2 amendment volume per foot of coal than in the July 2022 field test.
Three months post-treatment, with 2 roughly equally spaced sampling and lab analysis periods, the mol% of H2 in the treated wells has increased in 7 of the 10 treated wells.
We plan a third gas sampling date and lab analysis for the week of January 13, 2025, pending weather conditions.
